Refund policy

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  We do our utmost to package each item to insure it arrives to you without damage.  Even so, on occasion, a shipping carrier is not kind to heavy packages, and your item may arrive damaged as a result.  In the case of this event, the customer must email photos of all damaged products, and the packing materials in which it was received.  If your items are still functioning properly, and the damage proves to be solely esthetic, a credit will be considered, and a repair solution will be provided.  In the rare instance that a replacement would be considered, the customer is liable for full shipping costs for the replacement item.  Please email Alpinemetaldesign@gmail.com for photo submissions, and if you have any further inquiries with this subject. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).  Be advised, if you have ordered a mailbox or any other item with your address numbers on it, this qualifies as a custom or personalized order.  If your order is customized, and needs to be returned, a return will be considered, minus the cost of the customization, original shipping fee and restocking fee.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.  Customer pays in full for return and outgoing shipping on exchanged product. 


Refunds/Returns
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Item must be returned in the appropriate working condition ready for resale in order to have a full refund considered. Please see Exceptions /Non-returnable items section for what qualifies. Customer will pay for return shipping of product in full. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, minus shipping fee and a restocking fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
